On the
first lesson (fresh classmates!) of my
last module before my graduation, as usual, although everyone lacks interest in ice-breaking games, we were asked by the lecturer to pair up with a person, get to know five things about him/her and then introduce him/her in front of the class.
I was paired with this guy, M.
I would say that he's very outspoken and knowledgable because whatever comes out from his mouth during class discussions has substance.
I forgot about the five things I got to know about him (his likes, dislikes, his personality, desired career choice and something else... I'm sorry I have a goldfish memory haha!) but I remembered very clearly how he described my personality to the class.
When we were discussing about what he would say about my personality to the class, I merely told him to say what he thinks.
So he went on saying that he thinks I'm a very simple-minded person (omg how true) and I told him my desired career choice would be a tai-tai.
He also commented that I have nice big round eyes and high cheekbones.
A lil too much to comment?
Nevertheless, I agreed with his compliment haha! *thick-skinned*
So when it was time to present our other half to the class, he totally went off-script!
He forgot to mention my likes (Manchester United) but remembered and exaggerated my dislikes (any living animal with fur -.-'").
When it came to my personality, and here's the exciting part, he actually commented on my makeup!
He said I'm not a dramatic person because I don't have any falsies or dramatic shade of lipstick on, just light makeup, hence not a complicated girl but simple.
I think my dressing that day deluded him too.
I was dressed in an ultra-demure fashion - well-covered in a cardigan and skirt.
Yes, I may not be a complicated girl but
"drama queen" is my middle name yo!
Anyway so after the class ended, he asked for my number and email.
I acted blur and only gave him my email to add as my Facebook friend.
So fast to exchange numbers only after the first session?
Way too fast in my opinion, haha!
Friendly as I may be, I'm not
that friendly.
So he added me on Facebook the next day and I took another day to accept.
On the third lesson which was three days back, we were delegated into groups for discussion followed by presentation to the class.
During my presentation, I tried to maintain eye contact with the class by scanning everywhere.
However, during
HIS presentation, he was totally locking eyes with me for a good two minutes and I can't possibly look away cos it was like he was presenting to me alone.
Y'know it became so awkward that my guy friend beside me had to wave at him, whispered "hello?" and clicked his fingers in front of my face so as to divert M's attention away from me.
Thankfully, my friend saved me
successfully.
More weird Tuesday evenings to come...
