Last post for the year 2008. These pictures represent significant events that happened in each month, with February being the sole exception. It has been a long and hard year, i`ve realised.

THE LEGGY QUEEN reminisced at 7:53 PM
I never knew witnessing a cremation would be so painful. But I also know that gran`s now enjoying himself in paradise and I should feel consoled.

THE LEGGY QUEEN reminisced at 11:39 AM
In loving memory of my beloved 爷爷...
"I am the Resurrection and the Life.
He who believes in me will live even though he dies."
John, 11:25
My grandpa left us yesterday morning. His passing was expected since he was admitted into A&E for difficulty in breathing last Sunday morning. He contracted pnemonia, said the doctor. Survival rates less than 20%.
All was fine when we went to visit him on Day 1 of CNY. He can still smile, speak a few words though unable to eat cos of his feeding tube. My mum even praised him for having such radiant skin. I naively thought he could get past this year.
Not until I went to see him in his ward. The isolation ward. He was given 100% oxygen saturation and normal people only need 20% to breathe. If taken off, he will be gone instantly. His breaths were so heavy I know he was trying his best to live each second. Though he was in an unconscious state, his body oblivious to the surroundings, we believed he could hear us talking to him. And that was when I saw my dad cry the first time. The first time in all my 19 years of life. He was calling, "A-pa! A-pa! A-pa, wake up!" which made everyone in the room tear. Grandpa did not wake up.
In fact, he did not wake up ever since he slipped into the unconscious state. Not even when he left us. He left at about 3 something in the morning. Only my dad witnessed his passing. He saw gran gradually heaving slower breaths, slower and then no more. Just like that. No one saw his last, except dad. He was saying how much regretful he felt that Gran cannot come home for CNY this year because of his feeding tube and that will scar his heart forever.
When Gran arrived at the wake yesterday afternoon, all the relatives present were thrown into a pool of tears. You can imagine my state la huh. I was the eldest granchild, the one who enjoyed the longest time with him, with the best memories when he piggy-backed me and doted me with all the candies and toys. I was the blessed with the most amount of love from him. And now, I can only see him lying there, with no heartbeats and breathless. How upset can I get? And I know I will get even more upset when he gets cremated this friday.
Actually children can be as mature as adults. My brother`s friend came to the wake yesterday. Though he was notorious, always teaching my brother vulgarities and stuff, his ill deeds are all forgiven for being such an understanding boy to come share our grief.
I understand that this is a natural thing. 生, 老, 病, 死。Birth, Old age, Illness and then Death. And, it is even more natural to grief over one`s passing. I believe, given time, I will recover.
And to friends whom I`ve talked to because you`ve asked or informed by others, I`m terribly sorry to have spoilt your new year festive mood as we are currently still enjoying CNY.
Lastly, 爷爷, 你安心走吧! I believe you`ll be happier up there. You`re finally released from all the pain and illnesses. 你终于解脱了。

THE LEGGY QUEEN reminisced at 2:07 AM
1st of July. We`re officially into the later part of the year. I`m a summery person. I like the months of January to June and dislike July to December. These months usually give me a very dark feeling, kinda like the sort of loneliness. I have weird preferences you see. I like to sit on the left of the bus; I always carry my bag on my right shoulders. Ok randomness again.
It`s time for some recollection.
January was the time when I took a two week break from work and slacked at home after leaving Great Eastern. That was the month in which I started work in DHL too. 23rd January as I remembered.
February came and it was a devastating month for me. I experienced two extremely painful blows and they will forever be etched in me.
March came and I brightened up a little. Nothing more need be said as it is my birthday month.
April was a turning point. Some left and some came. It was a time for new acquaintances.
May was a month of miracle for me. In a sense, it was pretty tumultuous for me too. I gained new insights under a new head and probably, a godma and god brother too. Ha.
June was like I said, a month of happiness and sadness as well. It was all about embracing the old and wishing the new.
It`s July now. I caught the morning sky once more.
When I stepped out of Tampines Mac and heading towards the bus interchange.
While I was walking home after alighting from the bus stop.
Standing along the corridor of my house.
I miss seeing the Orion and the Big Dipper after catching the morning sky almost too occasionally these days.
KAWAII NEHS!
I told her that her child may look like this in future and she CHOY-ED me. LOL.

NOVEMBER
We all want to fall in love. Why? Because that experience makes us feel completely alive. Where every sense is heightened, every emotion is magnified, our everyday reality is shattered and we are flying into the heavens. It may only last a moment, an hour, an afternoon. But that doesn't diminish its value. Because we are left with memories that we treasure for the rest of our lives.
- From the movie "The Mirror Has Two Faces"
DECEMBER
Lost time is never found again. - Benjamin Franklin Goodbye, 2008.
Ok the date of publishing is altered to fit into the year 2008.
Here is the complied list of the MUST-READS for the year 2008. I spent like eternity (not so, probably the whole afternoon) to read each post one by one. It`s driving me nuts which explains why I`m feeling so cranky now. I salute whoever who reads my archives. Seriously. It`s insane man. Enjoy my hard work. :)
I was in a foul mood the whole day until Jo`s messages cheered me up. I promised to credit her on my blog. Here`s her gorgeous photo.
She sent me a cliche chain message but it nonetheless kept my spirits up! It said, "Sending you 18000 smiles. Take 1 for now and keep the remaining 17999 under your pillow.Pick 1 out everytime you need it cos I want to see you smiling always. Cheer up! =D"
SO sweet right? She also told me to confront that "ass supervisor" (as quoted from her) to let me extend my assignment. HAHA. She even claimed to want to help me bite her. "Life is too short to be tortured by some monkey-faced supervisors" she says. She`s super cute la. When I expressed my gratitude towards her understanding, she told me she needs a happy clan leader to make her a happy clan member. SO SWEET. Ok, that`s it. Jo is my newly favoured clan member. She shall be exempted from future clan punishments. Haha.
My mum INSISTED that she go with me to collect my results. I was like so fed up and said, " MUMMY! Very "throw face" leh. I how old already!" Note the use of colloquial English. But she kept on ranting on and on and on, saying the same thing, "BUT I WANT TO GO!". I ignored her and continued sleeping. In the end, she went over to my aunt`s place. =__=
And then, my aunt called me! She was practically shouting in the phone, “ 阿敏啊!你等一下拿成绩的时候千万不要乱乱喊 hor! 不要大哭大叫, 非常丢脸的!记住,你不要害怕, 考得上就考得上, 考不上就考不上 lor! 如果真的考不上, 你还有很多选择, 可以半工半读还是怎么的。 不要害怕爸爸会骂你,没人会骂你的!” When she hung up, I laughed and cried at the same time. That was what I needed.
My mum probably told my aunt what I told her yesterday night. When I reached home from work, she was already half in bed. I told mummy, "Mummy! If I flunk my A levels tomorrow, you cannot scold me leh. If you scold me, I`ll find a building and jump." Then she was like, "Then what are you going to do if you dont get into a uni?" I was speechless.
BUT, my life isn`t all about university education. It just happens to be the most important thing in my life right now. But, my focus will still change. If I really cannot make it, then, I`ll probably retake and study and work at the same time lor.
Here it is: "What is the one thing you`ll never understand about women?"
- Why they insist nothing is wrong even when they`re obviously upset. Sometimes it gets frustrating when you have to end up guessing what`s wrong.
- Why they`re so afraid to show their true selves. Some girls can be really guarded and that stops you from getting to know them better.
- How they flare up at the most seemingly insignificant things. I`m sure they gave their reasons for getting all worked up but at least tell us what happened!
- Where do I start?
- Why "Yes" means "Yes" and "No" still means "Yes".
- Why they like to hold hands with their girlfriends.
- Why they actually believe they can change a guy.
- Why they take such a long time to get ready.
- Why they are always late.
- Why they need to visit the washroom in pairs.
- Their moodswings. One minute everything is ok, and the next minute she`s screaming at the top of her lungs.
- The way they think. Once you think you know them, they come up with something else that baffles the living daylights out of you.
- What`s up with painful shoes? I see why they`re sexy but do you really need 20 pairs of torture instruments?
- That everything they say has a deeper meaning and we`re at fault for not knowing what it is.
- Why they perpetually complain about their weight.
- I`ll never know how much attention is enough. The art of keeping a girl happy has proven to be a delicate one.
- You give them chocolates and flowers and they say you`re completely unoriginal. If you don`t give them chocolates and flowers, they`ll say you`re unromantic.
- There`s a Nepalese saying that goes, "Even GOD can`t understand women, so how can I?"
- Their unexplainable mood swings. I know it`s called PMS but I didn`t realise that the P also stood for "perpetual".
- Their double standards. It`s fine when they spend time with their friends but they get irritated when their guy spends too much time with others.
HELLO EVERYONE?! YOU MAY BE WONDERING WHY I`M FREAKING BLOGGING AT THIS POINT OF TIME WHEN I`M SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING HARD IN THE OFFICE RIGHT?!
I TELL YOU. Something REALLY DRAMATIC happened to my dear friend SEE THOR HUIQI and I took leave off work and send her home. Right now, I`m furiously typing to convey what has happened in the past DRAMATIC hour while she go bathe. She even told me to rush in if I hear her scream because that`s when she will be about to faint. HOW DRAMATIC. Everything in my head now is DRAMATIC, DRAMATIC AND MORE DRAMATIC.
The thing goes like this. She was having really bad menstral cramps this morning. Her cramps are the best I tell you. Back in TPJC days, she would take pink form to excuse herself from school evey month. Not exaggerating ok. According to her, she once FAINTED on the toilet bowl due to excessive pain I tell you. NOT KIDDING AT ALL. But I think that was only temporary cos she can only depend on herself to recover from shock. Haha.
Anyways back to this morning. YA. So I filled a hot water bottle for her to calm her tummy but it was no use. The bottle even melted due to the excessive heat. Melted plastic bottle. Haha. I think that`s funny. You know, even the pink menstral pills also do not work on her. HAIS. POOR HUIQI. Anyways, when she couldn`t take it anymore, I suggested for her to go home lor. And the first thing she thought of was, " HUH. DEN LIKE THAT I ONLY EARNED TEN DOLLARS FOR TODAY!"
How dumbfounded can I be upon hearing this?! You want to die of excessive pain or wanna earn money!!! YOU CHOOSE LA. =____=
I thought she would be alright since she can walk so I did not offer to walk her to the station. I really regret not doing so. Offered to call cab for her but she said it`s too expensive. SEE? MONEY MONEY MONEY. We people now are so particular about saving for our tertiary education. I would like to appeal to the Singapore government to grant us MORE educational funds, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Man. She`s still in the toilet. But that`s alright. I hear sounds from the shower. Which may probably mean she has not fainted. Ok. I went to call her and she responded. PHEW. What a relief.
ERM OK. Back to story. So she made it to the station herself. NOW THIS IS WHEN THE EXCITING PART COMES IN.
She called me. She told me she was going to faint.
OOO. Her dad called and I took the call. WOW. Her dad is so caring. Haha.
Ok, back to story. Ya, she told me she was going to faint. I was so shocked I went to ask Melvin what to do. He couldn`t provide me with any solution and I went to tell Jane I will go find Huiqi immediately. SCREW THE WORK LA (as adapted from someone. HAHA). And so, I merely rushed to my desk, took my wallet and phone, told Jane to record the time I will be out and ZOOMED to the station. The freaking road to the station was so long I usually take 10 minutes to reach at a normal pace. HAHA. Now I`m proud to say that I ran there in 6 minutes.
OH. Huiqi`s out from the toilet. OK SHE IS BLABBERING ON AND ON about her painful experience. SHE SAYS SHE WASNT ABLE TO BREATHE PROPERLY, NOT EVEN NOW. HAHAHAHA.
Ok back to story. When I saw her,I WAS IN TOTAL SHOCK!!! TOTAL SHOCK!!! She was totally spread out on the ground and when I went over, I screamed OMG and she literally fell flat on the floor. OMG. I THINK IT IS DAMN DRAMATIC LA OK! SUPER DUPER DRAMATIC TO THE ULTIMATE CORE.I immediately tried to call a cab but she, being the money freak again, said, "DUN CALL A CAB. HAIL A CAB." I WANTED TO BURST OUT LAUGHING SIA. WHAT IS A $2 plus surcharge to a dying person? PEANUTS! She`s certified CRAZY I TELL YOU.
Anyways, while I was trying my best to hail one, there was this auntie who walked over to Huiqi and tried to render help. I quickly ran over and told the kind helpful lady that she`s alright. There was also this van and the driver came out of his van and asked me whether I`m alright. I said YA BUT MY FRIEND ISNT. LOL. FUNNY SIA. But I told him that everything is OK and that she`ll be alright once a cab comes.
AND SO, not long later, a CAB REALLY APPEARED miraculously, without me calling for a cab and she claimed to have saved a miserable $2 which can be utilised on a Mac meal. WTH. Really speechless. The taxi driver thought Huiqi WAS ON DRUGS. He said, "Is she on 摇头丸?" FUNNY. REALLY FUNNY. Then I said NO LA. It`s the women`s thing that comes every month. Then he commented on her, saying that she`s too 虚 already. He even gave us a namecard, the namecard of a 70 year old sinseh who`s experienced in treating this kind of ailments.
Then we arrived at her house. FINALLY. She told me before I went to her aid, there were 1 in 5 people who went to render help to her. 1 in 5?!!!! What has happened to the gracious Singapore society? And to top it off, it was a FOREIGNER LEH. She thinks it was a Malaysian man. A not-bad-looking-one some more! AND SHE SAID JUST THAT HER KIN LUNG IS MORE HANDSOME. *speechless again*
And now, she`s lying on her bed, still in pain. Talking nonsense which doesnt make the slightest sense. Her mum is coming home during lunchtime to fetch her to the doctor. HAIS. AND SHE JUST SAYS SHE LOVES ME. HAHA.
Ok. In conclusion, today can be considered the MOST DRAMATIC DAY of my life. HAIS. Hope you guys have fun reading about this REALLY EXAGGERATING friend of mine and her CRAZY EXPERIENCE.
"Poor Huimin of late has been bombarded with requests from her dearest friends, including myself, for her to blog a WHOLE POST about them. I was the only lucky one who got TWO WHOLE POSTS about myself!
Of course I'll have to start this post with her Highness. It's only polite. LIM HUIMIN So when I first met Huimin, I was sort of pleased and displeased at the same time about meeting someone almost as tall as I was. We were both 13 at the time, in Secondary 1. We were part of a four girl basketball team startup who immediately found that the four of us had little in common. We didn't even have "passion for basketball" in common because at the time, Her Highness was most opposed to the orange ball while I was most glued to it. Eventually I got around to ignoring the annoying fact that she couldn't care less about basketball and didn't care to improve her skills during Saturday morning practices. I myself started to care less about basketball. When our lame team disbanded due to lack of interest from the school, we immediately transfered over to the girls' netball team. During those hot sweaty afternoons of doing suicides and drills, the four of us (especially Huimin and I) really did some quality bonding. While Huimin's idea of bonding included screaming into my ears (I still hear ringing sometimes from her famous screech) and slapping my arm whenever I did something that shocked/displeased her, I didn't really mind because I was getting used to it anyway. When I left for the U.S. the first time, her efforts to keep in touch made me realise what a friend I left back in TK. But when I returned to Singapore, it really pissed me off that we never had time to hang out because Her Highness always had some kind of test to study for. What a nerd. When I was back in Singapore for a visit in 2007 though, she was there along with Talia to say goodbye to me. She even made me some cute little photo frame with some pictures she stole from my blog. Well, I guess what I'm trying to say is, Huimin is one of the sweetest friends I've ever had. And I'm not just saying that. She really goes out of her way to make me feel loved. I don't even do mushy things like that for my baby. (Sorry babe...) Only screechy girls like her have this kind of energy..." http://the-leggy-queen.blogspot.com/2008/06/omg-omg-omg.html

THE LEGGY QUEEN reminisced at 10:11 AM
The feeling of being in love is so amazing.
I`m thinking of you every second of the day.
I can`t wait to see you after work, can`t wait to give you a warm embrace the moment I reach home.
All my thoughts are filled with the sleek sexy body of yours.
I even dream of you the first night we got together.
I feel so attached to you, it`s as if you are already a part of me.
Anyways, I sent Mindy off on her plane already! Up till now, I haven`t been asleep for 25 hours straight. By the time I reach home this evening, it will be a full 37 hours, assuming I fall dead at 8pm. Oh man. I can already feel my migraine coming.
I think I might have upsetted my BFF in some ways so I`ve decided to bring forward this post to cheer her up. I know she has been waiting for this moment for a VERY LONG TIME. Before I reveal everything about myself- the ugly and the unglam, I must say I do deserve some sort of recognition for my bravery ok. Like seriously alrights. So SEE THOR HUI QI, you must feel honoured that I`m doing this for you! HAHAHA.
Oh yes, Diona deserved some credit too for encouraging me to post the following pictures. Eariler on, she had this particular post which had me laughing my head off. I commend her for her courage as well. LOL.
She was like this when she was in Primary 1.
Still the spectacled her.
As they always say, 女大十八变。I must say this from the bottomest of my heart. YOU ARE VERY PRETTY NOW- without specs and with hair extensions. One word- PRETTAYE!
So I reckon it`s my turn now. *Takes a deep breath* OMG. I can`t believe I`m doing this. I bet my readers will never patronise my blog again once they see the photos. My guy friends will be so TURNED OFF BY ME. Oh crap. AH. Whatever. Alrights, I`m ready now. BE WARNED of super ugly, unappealing, unglamourous, vomit-inducing photos. I think this is gonna be the BREAKTHROUGH POST in my entire blogging career. Psssh. Ok I should be cool about this. It is after all, a part of my life. So here goes- The story of Ugly Duckling.
My evolution. So apparently, I`ve morphed.
THIS WAS THE INFAMOUS "ECP PHOTO" SEE THOR HUIQI USED TO AWAKEN MY UGLY DAYS. OMGOMGOMG. What`s with the frinch-less face and black pearl earrings...? I couldn`t fathom this image up till now. I showed this to Tingting (my 6years old sister) sometime ago and her response was, "WHO`S THIS?!" I wanted to cry. When I told her it was me, she was like, "Don`t bluff. So ugly!"=____= Thanks, sis.
YES! I looked like an idiot in Primary One. I never was once considered delicate looking ok.
Ok, I was pretty normal at this point of time.
This was taken during the first three months. I wore contacts for the first time. The last two photos was taken when I exchanged my TK uniform for the TKGS pinafore. SUPER COOL.
OMG!! KILL ME PLS. I can`t believe I published this. AH. This was taken with Dawn during Sec 3/4. Can`t remember the exact year (or rather don`t want to remember. LOL).
Ok. Nerdy me with rowdy hair and ugly specs. SAVE ME!!!
VERY UNGLAM I KNOW. Has anyone lost their appetite yet?I have.
Another unglam moment in the library. God knows what am I doing?!
Taken THIS YEAR while sleeping over at Seet`s house. Thanks to Thorry`s sneakiness.
Literally wrapped like a dumpling. Now you believe I can`t sleep without my blanket? OMG. SO UNGLAM CAN!
This was the eyes-open-big-big-and-pose era.
Pls shoot me. NOW.
I find this very very unappealing. Like pregnant woman like that.
See? I even disgrace myself in uniform. What`s with THAT face anyways?!
OK ENOUGH WITH UGLY PHOTOS!
I totally lost myself until this drastic change come J2. The year I turned 18. 女大十八变 mah! That`s when this ugly duckling morphed into a beautiful swan ok. Eh, I`m not being BHB here hor, unless you tell me you prefer the old me. HAHAHA. The old me was also not too bad la come to think of it. As they say, inner beauty matters the most ma. HAHAHA. Ok, I am being sarcastic!!
Anyways, I learned how to be vain and narcisstic and exposed myself to many feminine stuff when I turned 18. I got my hair straightener/curler, hair styling products, contact lens (that`s like the MOST IMPORTANT thing in my transformation) and make-up of course. Oh yes, I got my hair rebonded which changed the overall image of myself too. As you all know, I`m born, sadly, with natural curls so I got my hair manageable through rebonding. It has been a routine to get it done every few months nowadays. No choice- it`s a vicious cycle. LOL.
Ok let`s have some decent-looking ones now in case those horrid photos are stuck in your head.
Straight hair. Still with specs at that time.
See? Feminine to the max! Sexy curls leh.
I sort of got addicted to curling at one point of time. I have a mature face so I cant`t possibly 走可爱路线。Not the typical girl-next-door type you know. So I`ve gotta take the glamorous route. HAHA.
SO SEE THOR HUI QI, happy or not?! This post is finally out. The day you have long awaited has finally arrived. HAHAHA.
TO ALL: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REMEMBER ME AS THIS WOMAN BELOW. I think this is the best photo I`ve ever taken- the correct angle and posture. Beautiful.
Oh yes, I must mention that this gorgeous photo was taken with dear Diona.
OH YES. Pls do me this small favour from the 傻大姐。 For those who are using Internet Explorer, PLEASE DO NOT RIGHT CLICK and "SAVE AS" these pictures.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
AS FOR THOSE FIREFOX AND SAFARI BROWSER USERS, IT`S EVEN EASIER FOR YOU PEOPLE TO DRAG AND DROP THOSE PHOTOS ONTO YOUR DESKTOP AND SAVE THEM.
C`MON, DON`T BE SO BO LIAO OK. IF YOU WANT THEM, JUST TELL ME. I WOULD VERY GLADLY SEND THEM TO YOU ALRIGHTS. =)
Ok end of post. I hope nobody loses their appetite or suffer from insomnia/nightmares or whatsoever. Good day to all.
PS: To potential admirers, be assured that I look decent now. No worries ya? HAHAHA.
I think I`m addicted to ugli-fying myself. HAHAHA. On another hand, I have DIONA to thank again for the wonderfully done post which was sort of dedicated to me. =)
I had an UNEXPECTED caller this afternoon. I`ll elaborate more tomorrow when I feel well again. My head is threatening to explode now. Yes, the inevitable has happened- my immunity system is down. Was running a sliggght fever last night. It didn`t reach 38 though- was hovering around 37.8 degrees celsius so I reckon it`s just a minor malfunction of my body machine. On a lighter note, paracetamols seem to help and I felt better today.
So I went to meet them at Starbucks after my purchases. Bummed around and chit-chatted. Had been quite awhile since I last saw them. Had some really nice jokes. I don`t know whether my standard for jokes has dipped or that Mr B is really getting funnier. He had Mr A and me laughing till we grab our stomachs and laugh! He told us that we will never have to take public transport again because he will be able to drive us around next year should he successfully get his license by then. His dad will GIVE him his car. A Toyota. That rich kid. HAHA. I told him about my phobia about getting driven by fresh drivers and he came up with this "EJECT HUIMIN" thing in his car should I scream and disrupt his driving. WAH PIANG. What kind of a friend is this? HAHA. He`s so different ever since serving NS. HAHA.
Anyways, Mr B is going to Aussie for NS training (which is actually some stupid senseless brainless job) this coming Oct. I asked him whether he needs me to send him off since you know, my hobby is sending people off at the airport. Haha. I told him I sent a girlfriend`s boyfriend off to Taiwan for NS training as well just recently. Both Mr A and B exclaimed "GIRLFRIEND?!" They took "girlfriend" as the literal meaning you see. Then Mr A started to speak, "Huimin can`t possibly be lesbian. That`s IMPOSSIBLE." HAHAHA. That`s right. That will never happen. I`m still waiting for THE ONE to sweep me off my feet.
OH YES. Jo is attracting butterflies like there`s no tomorrow. There`s this Ah Tiong who blatantly complimented her in public today. He went like this, "JOANNE! 你好可爱 wor!" I swear I almost fainted upon hearing it. HAHAHA.
I don`t know for what reason, but my guy friends always say I`m unlike other normal girls. To put it plainly, I`m W-E-I-R-D.

Oh yes, something pissed me off in school today. We were chatting during our break and Alex suddenly exclaimed, ‘你好像夜店女王哦!’。 夜店女王 means Clubbing Queen by the way. The other Chinese guy sitting in front of me was like saying ‘对对对!’ so enthusiastically! I wanted to say, "对对对 your head sia!" but apparently I did not la. I tried to defend myself but to no avail. I`m such a guai kia and to think that the first impression that I inflict on others is that of a clubbing queen. Oh Lord! http://the-leggy-queen.blogspot.com/2008/09/like-every-other-singaporean-i-was-at.html

THE LEGGY QUEEN reminisced at 8:12 PM
Oh yes, I took a ride in my colleague`s car this afternoon cos I needed to get lunch for the entire team. I was at Sheraton Towers and the nearest place to get food was Far East Plaza so he had to drive me there. I didn`t scream in the car (remember I`m car phobic?) cos well, I was too sick to scream. I got carsick and wanted to puke. You know that kind of dizziness? YA that kind. HAIS. Cars, cars, cars. They drive me crazy. Anyways, when we got to his car, I don`t know whether to take the front seat or the back seat. Out of pure courtesy, I took the back seat. The moment I opened the back seat and was just about to sit down, my colleague was like, "EH! You think this one TAXI is it?! SIT IN FRONT LA!" LOL. I LMAO sia, seriously. I was chuckling like a silly chick. I mean, to me, the front seat is of some significance de ma- cannot anyhow anyhow just sit in like that unless the driver permits you to do so. I mean, that`s what I feel la. Ok, weird thinking again. -.-''' http://the-leggy-queen.blogspot.com/2008/09/boohoo-this-years-mid-autumn-is-such.html

THE LEGGY QUEEN reminisced at 11:19 PM
SO AFTER THE EXAMS, I was quite spirited because the worst is over. Wasn`t feeling sleepy though I sure had an exhausted night memorising my essays and Jo reminded me that we have a date with Benjamin. Hence we had to abandon our clique and postpone the post-exam celebration to this coming Monday.
Met up with the guy who made 2 ladies wait for him. I mean I don`t mind la cos I had him wait for me almost on all occasions but still, Jo`s around you see. LOL. And he wasn`t that late either. Forgiven. LOL. But one thing worthy to mention was that when I told him I`m sacrificing my beauty sleep to go shopping with him, he had this particular unfeeling response: So you decided to come shopping with me looking like a geek la? WAH PIANG. HAHAHA. I really should have just headed straight home to lala land instead of appearing in Orchard Road looking like a walking corpse. http://the-leggy-queen.blogspot.com/2008/09/you-know-what-my-exam-is-over-ive-since.html

THE LEGGY QUEEN reminisced at 10:19 PM
Anyways, REBECCA FONG MING LI IS REALLY BACK IN SINGAPORE! What a nice way to start the month of October, don`t you all agree?
And I think this is the best answer among the other contributors. Here it is.
1. u are able to answer in the exams without even looking at the qtns 2. an S grade is like a C grade 3. an E grade is like an B grade 4. a D grade is like an A grade 5. a C grade is like getting full marks 6. u suddenly see tons of ppl in the library just before the exams 7. u see pple complaining about anything and everything (eg a tree causing emotional imbalance) when it's actually your own fault 8. u will laugh everytime u hear mr nordin speaks 9. compete to be the top of the bottom cohort 10. u go to breaks saying the teacher isnt there even though the teacher is 5 mins late. 11. give the same excuses such as sore throat to everything. (eg. teacher: why are u wearing slippers? student: i got sorethroat ah cher (no link)) 12. u stay late in the libray to get biscuits and milos 13. u see pple actually playing poker and drinking bubble tea in the library 14. u create facebook accounts even during prelims ......................................................etc
well...ultimately you just know it that you're from tpjc. so just live with it and be proud :)
I think that fella is still on his flight to LA. He must have reached Narita International Airport though. Hais. That lucky Santa. Makes me feel sooo envious. He gets to visit NASA leh (OMG. My dear Orion and Big Dipper!!!) and needless to say, Disneyland as well! Pfft.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL, COOKING MAMA DAY HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTED!
I would like to express my sincere thanks to the organiser, Miss Seet Yi Wen for her conscientious effort in making this event a success. Without her many resources, Cooking Mama Day would not be as smoothly carried out as it did. Thank you!
Also, much thanks to members of the D-Clan, namely See Thor Hui Qi and Joanne Quek Xin Li for their utmost enthusiasm and active participation during the event. You were great chefs!
And not forgetting our distant clan member stranded in Melbourne, Rebecca Fong Ming Li for taking time out from her packed schedule to chat with us online, in the hope of immersing herself in the Cooking Mama atmosphere.
Lastly, I thank all the invited guests, namely (in alphabetical order)
Chong Wei Jie
Danny Woo Bowei
Jessie Tai Kwai Yan
Kevin Lee Jia Jing
Tai Kin Lung
for their esteemed presence and "noble willingness" to sacrifice their healthy stomachs for the "palatable" meals the cooking mamas came up with.
SO, THANK YOU ALL!
And not forgetting that there`s another person to thank as well. Thank you Mr Hunk for willing to give me face and come to the dinner. I thank you for your wonderful video as well!
Let me now tell you all the story of "Eh sia la, nice bodor!"
Hmm? So checked my email in the morning and...
WAH. SUPER TOUCHED CAN! He actually remembered his promise that he will blog day-to-day posts about his LA trip but he failed to do that when he came back because there are wayyyy too much photos to blog about la. And because of past experiences, guys hardly keep their promises to me. HAHA. Serious! I know that too well ok. So Dear Santa a.k.a Mr Hunk is an exception! What a nice friend right?! WAH. CHEERS to him man!
Oh ya. My guest was uber nice to see me to my bus stop last night. I said no need and even pressed the bell when he was about to alight. He, however, refused to budge when I shoved him. No choice. HAHA. And then when I alighted at my stop, I sent him to his bus-stop. Like, zzz? HAHA. But he`s really a gentleman. Guys, pls learn from him can!
I saw a person who looks very much like you today. I was rushing to school as usual. Brisk-walking through the underpass of Bedok MRT station. I felt like I entered a trance, where time came to a standstill all of a sudden... because I saw a back view that resembled yours. That silhouette felt so familiar. I was stunned. Turned around. Wanted to run after "you" but my rationality took over me. I know. You wouldn`t be there at that point of time. Not at that moment. I dragged my feet off. Feeling crestfallen. Disappointed. http://the-leggy-queen.blogspot.com/2008/12/i-saw-person-who-looks-very-much-like.html

This is... Love Actually..
THIS IS A MUST-WATCH!
Say it's carol singers. With any luck, by next year, I'll be going out with one of these girls... But for now let me say, Without hope or agenda, Just because it's Christmas, (And at Christmas you tell the truth) To me, you are perfect. And my wasted heart will love you, Until you look like this... Merry Christmas.
