Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight is.....
SIRIUS!Obvious right cos it`s the brightest star.
HAHAHA.
Okay so I just came back from Bedok Reservoir.
Made it in time before midnight.
Finally got the chance to go there at night.
Remember I wanted to jump Bedok Reservoir sometime ago cos I was too pissed off with my friend?
Yea, this time I wasn`t intending to jump but to star-gaze.
Bedok Reservoir is a good place to star-gaze because it is free from the blinding city lights.
The tranquility of the waters provides a comforting, soothing feel too.
Plus tonight was splendid.
It was the first cloudless nightsky of the month of February.
Very beautiful.
Saw Orion but not the Big Dipper. :(
The only bad thing about Bedok Reservoir is that it is full of
lao ah peks. Or maybe
lao se gui is a better word.
Piang.
Stare stare stare.Wait till I gorge your eyes out then you know.
I was already wrapped up like a dumpling and they still stare.
Ok fine la maybe my TPJC shorts were quite short but I already wore a jacket over my top leh.
HMPH.
Spoil my star-gazing mood.
Anyways, it occurred to me that even Santa Clause has mood swings.

So whenever he has mood swings, or perhaps troubles, he will go and appreciate the stars like me!
Trust me you people, in circumstances where you want to emo, go find a serene place, sit down and look up into the sky.
The bits of diamonds will thrill your heart and you`ll feel better.
It will be good if there`s a ferrero rocher by your side but that`s optional.

Why? Cos chocolate produces
theobromine and
phenyethylamine which are both mood-elevating chemicals!
Happy chemicals, as they call it.
Under such a scenario, there is no way you will feel worse! =D
A friend of mine once told me that life in Singapore is so stressful that you don`t even have time to look up into the sky and admire the stars like me.
I beg to differ leh.
I`m one such
exception lor.
No matter where I am, once the nightsky falls, I`ll be sure to look up in search for stars.
Oh yes I came across a question regarding meteor showers just now.
"Do wishes come true if they are made under meteor showers?"
My answer is actually no because I used to make wishes on falling leaves and they do not come true so I assume that goes the same for meteor rain.
Maybe this might work:
Star light, star bright.
First star I see tonight.
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
(Since Santa loves to sing)
PS: I hope Santa Clause will recover soon. =)
