#183: Officially 18!

I'm OFFICIALLY 18! And here are the beloved gifts i got on that very special day...

that one slice of cake my second sis got for me. my third sis still owes me one. as for my parents, they bought me a feast. 2 crabs (all for me! imagine my bloated tummy) and a few dishes. =)


this is from my youngest sister aged only 5! she's already so sweet to use her ang pow money to buy me 4 simple yet glamorous hairclips!


this is the best present so far. i personally feel that it is the sincerest present i have received. Amina wrote her blessings for me in such a manner that i have to flip and flip to read the entire message. Full of creativity and effort. She claimed that she bought me a mirror cos i'm vain and that i always smile in the school toilet mirror whenever i tie my hair. So sweet and thoughtful.


The next special present i got was from Shihui! She copied my picture on friendster, went to develop it and made a frame for me. =) The whole thing was entirely hand-made! Such skillful craftsmanship! Cool. Yes, this guy's name is Wu Zun. Currently the hottest man on Earth. Oh ya, the frame is able to glow in the dark. So cool!


Next up is the Fahrenheit's pictorial + posters + customised diary/planner my clan bought for me!!! FYI, my clan consists of shihui, yiwen, joanne, rebecca, huiqi and radhika! And, i'm their clan leader. Thank you thank you... Well, they're really nice to get me this. I think it ain't cheap. Fahrenheit! Love them to bits! And, Wu Zun is from this band too!!!

I made this frame for Mindy as her farewell gift. It contains pictures of the four pretty ladies (ME(haha), Mindy, Talia and Sally).

#179: Clumsiness.

Have a nice laugh at this picture, peeps! Click to enlarge for a clearer view. I made it out of my 'disaster' this morning. Owing to the fact that i have Econs faculty test this morning, i was going over my notes while walking to school. Due to construction works at the housing blocks near my house, there were many poles on the streets. And so, i was reading and walking and reading walking to my way to the bus-stop. And guess what? Yups, you could have most probably made a clever guess.

I crashed right into the stupid pole.

It was painful. I thought all my brain cells had burst at that point of time. I really DID NOT notice that bloody sickening pole in front of me la! I was really engrossed in my reading.

Of cos, my notes scattered all over the floor. I wondered whether the people at the bus-stop saw me in my awkward situation. They were only like a few metres away...

#178: "A".

Yes. An 'A'. A 'distinction' for oral. But so what? My parents didn't even praise me for that. They think that getting an 'A' for chinese to me, is like no mean feat. But, can't they even spare a few words of praise? Maybe one day if i get 'A's for math and science, they'll throw me off the building cos that is considered something really special and out of the ordinary to them (because i have been failing these subjects all my life).
