Just got off the phone with the HR officer.
I have decided to accept their offer!
I have had enough waiting time and this is the best offer so far so I thought I should probably start my attachment soon. :)
I reckon I can learn as much in this company as they are representing an airline company and I got to deal with difficult customers as warned. Haha!
Plus, the company is located close to home- the building that says NTUC Income Tampines Point, just directly opposite Century Square.
I will start work officially this coming Wednesday and the on-the-job training will last till 11th Sept and I will be on my own thereafter.
Hopefully, I can endure the 6 months attachment with a breeze.

#996: Lacklustre
I realised my posts are kind of lacklustre recently.

#995: Pride & Prejudice turned Meteor Garden turned Boys Over Flowers.
Other than being obsessed over Miley's "Obsessed", I feel the same way for the hot korean drama "Boys Over Flowers" as well.
You all know how I go gaga over astronomical objects la huh so I am creating this post for my own interest and passion.

IMO, the taiwanese version is prettier.

#993: The mind of a child.
I came across this piece of paper lying around aimlessly this morning.
Took a closer look and I was astonished.
Trying to understand the mind of a child
- look at the arrows from 3 to 4 years old as well as from 5 to 6 years old.
I bet Tingting was trying to show the age progression.
- she circled mummy instead of daddy may mean that mummy is closer to her.
- towards the bottom right corner, there are 4 boxes for one to tick. Tingting probably realised the missing "Please tick" and wrote it there herself.
I find it so hilarious that I went to scan it and decided to blog about it.
My cute lil sister.

#991: Lady Luck shone on me today!
Went Ion Orchard early in the morning after my Singapore Grand Prix (YES! F1!!!) interview.
Got to the Sistic counter and got tickets for my parents.
I hope they enjoy this one.
Relieve the good ol' dating days... Mmm...

The scent strips smell really awful but they smell just nice to Ling and Terence.
Weird people.
Or rather, weird ME.
When I reached home, bushed and sleepy, this letter lifted my spirits!

I can say byebye to my Balenciaga watch. Heehee.
Eh no wait a sec, my Balenciaga watch is more costly than 2 Swatches combined so... well, it wouldn't hurt to have 2 standby watches. HAHA!

Headed to the library yesterday afternoon and borrowed several books.
I know I have read this book before but this is the ILLUSTRATED VERSION so I wouldn't mind reading it again!
Wuthering Heights! Woohoo! Another classic after Pride and Prejudice!
This novel tells a story of heartwrenching, yet vengeful love.
A passion. An obsession. Mayhem in the end.
Ahhh I can't wait to finish it!
And of course... the final book to the Twilight Saga.
Wanna relieve the "vampire phenomenon" again.
Borrowed this from Diona on the day I surprised her at her house so Breaking Dawn comes in useful.
Lastly, I reckon I needed some coaching and it proved me right.
Tips from this book snagged me a job offer. Immediate results!

#989: HAPPY 20TH, TEOXINROU!
Her birthday is on the 28th but she would be spending the day in China so I thought an advance birthday celebration would be more appropriate than a belated one.
Rang the doorbell; covered the keyhole.
Papa Teo did not dare to open the door until I let go of my hand at the keyhole. Ha.
When I entered, he was stunned for a moment and I was like, "Uncle, it's me la!"
When I entered the living room, he was still standing down there with a confused face and I went, "It's me, Huimin!"
.................... I was like, do I really look that different or was it because the lights were dim in the living room? Zzz.
Then, Mama Teo came out of her bedroom, saw me, and gave the same reaction as Papa Teo.
I had to repeat myself that I am Huimin and she went, "Wah, you changed alot leh!"
Erm... the last time I saw them was probably only a few months back...? HAHA!
So, because Mama Teo exclaimed loudly that I have changed, Diona came out of her room to check out what was happening and there was no place for me to hide so I was exposed.
THANKS AH MAMA TEO.
Showed her the cake that she desired and I began singing the birthday song.
My classic phrase on birthdays is....
Repeat after me: What's a birthday without a cake?
I requested for her to hang this in her room so she would be reminded of me everyday. HAHA!
She's a sucker for Winnie the Pooh so I got her this cushion.
With the same intention that she would be reminded of me whenever she hugs it la. LOL.
And this mirror which says, "I AM HAPPY" when you open it.
It will act as a constant reminder for her to stay happy every single day. :)

YAY. Another surprise accomplished.
Gives me a great sense of satisfaction.
I wish her BON VOYAGE on her trip to China and cheers to our longstanding years of friendship! =)

#988: Venezuela- the land of beauties.
There's a reason why I say Venezuela is the land of beauties.
Latin Americans in general, IMO, are the prettiest in the world.
I have been a faithful fan of the Miss Universe pageants, thanks to the zest and over-enthusiasm displayed by Mrs Lim.
She will wail and scream and cheer for the contestants, of course not forgetting criticisms as well.
"Aiya this one too flat... omg her mouth is so huge... wah her eyes are charming..."
Yeah you get the drift. HAHAHA.
Venezuela got the crown-again.
They deserve it. They are absurdly beautiful beings.
The top 5 finalists for Miss Universe 2009.
I agree with my mum that she has a wide mouth but her red evening gown is stunning.
She chose an impressive colour.
And her red lips further accentuated her features.
The true meaning of 回眸一笑。
Absolutely charming.

I like her- she's very vivacious, very lively.

Miss USA was uberly sweet. I heart her dimples.
But the winner goes to Miss Japan. Probably cos the deserving Miss Japan 2006 achieved first runner up in 2006 and that the organisation felt it owed Japan the honour. LOL.
The Top 5 finalists of Miss Universe Pageant 2006.
I like Miss Paraguay and Miss Japan that year.
Both were contending for the title of Miss Universe 2006.
I felt Miss Japan really deserved the honour.
She probably lost the title because the judges prefer a Latin American for the crown.
Just my opinion.

Who do you prefer?
For me, I would go for Kurara Chibana (Miss Japan 2006).
Miss World Pageants also uncovered numerous unbelievably beautiful women.
Miss World 2007 (Miss China) - Zhang Zilin.
The best China contestant in beauty pageants that I have seen.
Miss World 2008 (Miss Russia).
She is so sweet looking she can melt anyone's heart.
Looks may be appealing but don't forget to enhance inner beauty and intelligence as well or you will end up being called a BIMBO! xD
