I went to visit my gran with Ling and Ting today. My my, Gran was THRILLED to see me. She sat me down, told me stories about her family background for an entire hour. Times during the Japanese Occupation, how she survived through bad times till what she is right now. She told me to pen her biography and publish it someday. I might. Heehee. You know old folks like to talk about death and all. I always tell my gran that she cannot go to heaven until she personally carries her great grandchild in her arms. She`s tickled badly everytime I say this but I mean it lor. Told her to give me an allowance of ten years and she said she cannot wait that long. I told her CANNOT, MUST WAIT. HAHAHA.
And then I went grocery shopping at NTUC Fairprice with Ling and Ting. Bought tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, mayonnaise, cheese and ham. Remember I`m in to prepare breakfast for my khakis next week? HAIS. HAHAHA.
Went home and had dinner with Pa and Ma. Have you ever experienced telepathy with your family members? I firmly believe that we are somehow connected supernaturally. It happened twice just now. Ma came out and said something while Pa was in the toilet. Pa came out and said the same thing. HAHAHA. And when Ling and I passed a comment, Pa exclaimed, "That`s exactly what I want to say but you girls blurted it out first!" Dinner`s always a good time to bond family ties. =)
This... is a national tragedy.
My deepest condolences to the victims of this tragedy.

Angry. Angry. Angry. Angry. Angry.
I was FREAKING PISSED OFF by my lecturer today. I can say for sure that he has something against me. He has been picking on me on countless occasions. And the fact that he OPENLY HURLED ABUSE at me in class today made me look down on him. Is that how an educator is supposed to behave? Did he have to leave me with no dignity? I was UTTERLY EMBARRASSED and to say the least, DOWNRIGHT HUMILIATED right in front of my classmates. He is apparently trying to test my EQ huh. Instead of imparting knowledge, you go around picking on students and insult them with your harmful words? I seriously DO NOT see your passion in teaching although you keep saying you want to CHANGE people. Change us into motivated and driven employees for future employers. WHAT BULLSHIT because all I learnt from you is to be like you- do ANYTHING for the sake of money. Sorry to say that I`m not as profit driven as you. Yes, money is all-important because what can you do without money? However, the way you view money as the essence of your life IRKS me okay! You kept emphasizing in class that we should all work for money, money and more money! WHY ARE YOU SUCH A PATHETIC MERCENARY SOUL? I feel DAMN SAD for a person like you who sees money as a sole survival tool. You must`ve missed out on alot of other wonderful things in life. I bet you`re one lonely, friendless old man. To think that I actually praised you on the first day of class, seeing that you`re a "disciplinarian" who can motivate me to excel in management. Looks like I was too wrong. I must have been too blind and naive to pass judgment that early. You should be thankful that I have a high level of tolerance and am CIVILISED because I do not go around passing crude remarks to people, much less students. Though you have been harsh to me, I`ve not lost anything but gained a hell lot of strength to make you DARN RIGHT IMPRESSED with my assignment and exam. Just you wait and willingly reward me with an A. I`ll be more than forgiving to appreciate your "kindness" towards me.
PS: I must thank my second sister for bringing me to Subway for lunch. Filling up my stomach (a.k.a BINGEING) is the BEST WAY to make me cool down.
I LOVEEEE their chocolate chip cookies.
YUMS YUMS.
And thank you to Terence and Joanne who soothed me. Terence`s right in saying that I should think far and not clash with him right now. Yes, THINK FAR. I would be done with him in a month`s time. SEE YOU, NOT!

What did I have for dinner? THERE!
I told my sister to da-bao spaghetti with chicken chop for me. I want to learn how to whip deliciously looking pasta before COOKING MAMA DAY!
PS: Dear Seet, does this look appetizing enough? HAHA.
I forgot to mention that I saw the ORION yesterday night!
It has definitely been a loooong time since I last caught it in the sky....... It has been more than three months if I`m not wrong.... So, we (the trio) were walking Benjamin to the taxi stand and I looked up to the sky incidentally. (It has been a habit for me to look up the sky now and then to see if there are any illegal disposal of bulky items. HAHAHA. Just joking la.) Then I exclaimed upon spotting the star constellation, only to be snubbed by Sally and Benjamin`s indifference. "I`ve seen much more clearer ones while I was in Australia. Shooting stars as well," so said the man. *gives an awed look*
Orion always makes me feel reminiscent of the past. The past that I shared with a certain someone. Hmms.
And, SALLY KWONG got a NEW phone!!! Slim, sleek, feminine. Feminine in the sense that it`s pink. Pink is a feminine colour. Although I`ve withdrawn from the pink league ever since I left school (and went on to join the red league instead), I still think that her phone is hot.
It looks better in real than on paper. This photo does not do any justice to the pretty phone but it`s the best I can find on google.
AND AND, I`ve been sort of traumatised lately. Sony Vaio just released a brand new series of laptops recently. LOOK WHAT I FOUND!
I was at Harvey Norman and spotted a number of new Vaio lappies.
My mouth was held agape when I saw this. WHY? Because I have been complaining and whining about the black interior of my Vaio and to think that they actually came up with a new one with RED interiors! *bangs head on wall*
And and the fact that you can simply use your fingers to slide to adjust the volume or those playback buttons located on the panel above the keyboard just make me feel freaking mad.
ARGH. This is infuriating.
FURTHERMORE, when I bought my CR353, I got a matching USB red mouse and a red carrying case. NOW, if you purchase one of those CS, you get a FREAKING Bluetooth laser matching mouse (which is WIRELESS by the way) and a matching carrying case as well. The difference lies in the wireless mouse. =(
Look at the difference.
The former looks more appealing right.
HAIS, the advancement of technology in the flash of the eye.

Dined with Benjamin and Sally at 85 just now. Minced pork noodles plus sugarcane with lemon. I was SURPRISINGLY the first to arrive, followed by BenQ then Sally. When I saw BenQ coming towards me, his tee caught my eye. Or rather, the wordings on it.
And he actually LAUGHED at me when I finished reading it. I don`t like him. Trust me. It`s rather awkward to aim at his chest and take a photo of it. HAHAHA.
And he got me this from Queensland, Australia where he underwent erm.... almost three weeks of NS training over there.
He`s implying that I need peace. Peace in my life. How apt. I think I`m leading a way too dramatic life. HAHAHA.
(the colour of amethyst goes well with my nail colour right. LOL.)
Amethyst is linked to peace, tranquility and relaxation. It can also be used in any situation which requires wisdom and clarity.
Sally got a blue one which says SUCCESS. How ironic to receive this present on the exact day of the completion of her A level exams. HAHAHA. But come to think of it again, it is never too late la. LOL.
And there`s a rather surprising piece of news- she might go and teach English at some newly established school, dealing with Sec 3/4 students! I seriously CANNOT imagine her being called upon as Miss Kwong! Totally unbelievable! She would most probably torture her students with her curt response if they ever dare to provoke her. Haha.
After 85, the both of them decided to take a walk, free from the smoke in the open aired hawker centre. Sally suggested the fountain plaza (which by the way has no water for ages) in Bedok Inter and because I didn`t bring my Ez-link card out, we had to walk. Good for digestion what.
Reached Bedok Inter and went to Mac (yes, again!). We ALWAYS seemed to end up in Mac for no reason. Hahaha. Guess we`re somehow affiliated to that place. BenQ and I had Hot Fudge sundaes while that woman had an apple pie. Oh yes, I forgot to mention this. My family was having dinner at 85 as well and my mum saw Sally and the first thing she said was, "哇,你变胖了喔!" I believe my mum didn`t mean it literally. I guess she meant that Sally looked healthier or something like that but SALLY KWONG was SOOO AFFECTED by it she went to call her mama and complained. She even told her mama to help her take revenge against me. =( MUM, see what have you gotten me into?!
So we talked and talked and it`s not surprising that I`m always a victim of their criticism. Like, for instance, they made a dig at me for pronouncing Penelope wrongly. And G-R-A-S-P. They literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD when I mispronounced it you know. So humiliating. =(
But it`s ok. Heaven is fair. Sally got scared out of her wits by a rat. HAHAHA. Benjamin could not top up his Ez-Link card because the counter was closed. Good game. HAHAHA.
Gotta be up early for school tomorrow. 945am, like what the lecturer claimed. I hope, I pray to be able to make it on time...
HELLO EVERYONE!!!
Ok I feel kinda high to find myself back in blogging mode. HAHAHA. C`mon, LAUGH OUT LOUD along with me! *a series of fictitious "kee siao"s thrown at me*
Hmms, I have a number of posts which are targeted at events that happened during my hibernation period, namely:
1. M.I clique gathering 2. Fund Raising Dinner at Carlton Hotel 3. My lil sister`s preschool graduation concert a.k.a musical wonderland 4. Trip back to my alma mater, Temasek Primary School
but these will have to wait. Photos not uploaded yet. So for now, I will just blog about my first lesson on Principles of Management today. Ready? Get set, GO!
Today was the first lesson on POM. I have had enough with Business Stats during the last module. You know me la huh. Math is my foe. And the last sat`s exam totally ruined me. =( Thus I was kinda looking forward to this new topic as well as feel skeptical about it at the same time because I heard it stressed Rebecca out when she took this module. HAHA. Anyways back to what I was saying, I was a lil late than usual this morning. Heehee. I know it`s inappropriate for me to be late for my frst lesson.... I`m not going to give excuses for myself la, but I have to say that I`m intimidated by the lecturer so that may perhaps push me to kick my bad habit. HAHAHA. For instance, lessons start at 10am, but he told us to come at 945am tomorrow. Oh no. =(
So while I was 5 minutes` away from the classroom, I messaged my khakis and asked them whether they have taken their course materials.
"Alex already took for you. You just come into the classroom can already. The lecturer is very strict."
THANKS. That is like the LAST thing I want to hear, and definitely not a good way to start a new module. I used to go into the classrooms by the back door and sneak in when I`m late but there is no back door today! Fortunately, Jo is late as well and we went into the classroom together with ashamed faces. HAHA.
Hmms. I must say that this lecturer is a real strict fella. And he doesn`t provide us with the lecture slides you know. He extracted those content from the textbook which basically means that we are to read the textbook diligently. A good way to force some of us to make full use of the textbook. Here`s a peek at it.
I guess it`s good to have a disciplinarian in the class because if not, my khakis and I will start our casual conversations in class again (which is NOT a good thing!). I therefore, promise to give my full attention to the lecturer in the month to come. =)
Ok I`m done with talking about the introductory lesson on POM. Let`s move on to something yummy-licious.
Terence, our big brother, probably got possessed by some gourmet chef and prepared us breakfast for several days! We were flattered to be able to taste his fine culinary skills!
5th Nov 2008, Wednesday
This is his first attempt and our first take on it. Mmm... looks pretty palatable, agree?
However, I told him I do not take the weird-looking veggie and the tomatoes. In the end, I had to feed Alex with those "rubbish". HAHA.
6th Nov 2008, Thursday
He is so meticulous to leave out those "rubbish" and I got a sandwich with egg mixed with mayo and ham as well!
10th Nov 2008, Monday
The "chef" came up with something different- he mixed shrimps with the egg and mayo! And he toasted the bread as well so it tasted a lil hard, but nice though. He definitely has a future in the F&B industry. HAHAHA. Eh eh, guys who know how to cook are HOTTTT in demand ok!
There! Can you see the lil shrimps?
24th Nov 2008, Monday (which is today!)
Mmmm.... Today.... I asked Terence what those green looking foreign objects are and Jo told me that they are known as C-E-L-E-R-Y. Eeew. I had a hard time swallowing them down. HAHA.
Good thing is that he added some pepper in it so it still tasted okay. Thumbs up for the effort nonetheless.
I don`t know whether this is considered good or bad news. I`m next on the line to prepare breakfast for the lads. Can you hear the God of Cookery telling me to give it up and not cause food poisoning to my friends? HAH. Well, I admit I haven`t a flair for cooking but I can always learn right! And, there`s still D-Clan`s exclusive Cooking Mama Day for me to hone my skills. xD
Hmms, so what should I make for breakfast....?
YES, the blogger fanatic is OFFICIALLY back! Back from a looong period of hibernation, because the cruel polar bears chased me out. =( HAHAHA. So all you readers out there, please comeeee baaccck!!! Stay tuned for updates! MUUUAAACCCKS!

Sally: no. she`s just.. OK LA OK LA I CANNOT PLAY LA. I DUNNO HOW
Huimin: it`s ok. i used to lose all ten games when i first started out. practice makes perfect. dont despair.
I`m officially announcing that I will enter hibernation mode after this post. I may be back in one or two days, or even one to two weeks. I think the latter sounds more reliable. I have cleared all of my backlogged posts from last month (refer to previous posts). Beware: There are over 200photos.
If you ask me the reason why I`m not blogging anymore, a very PR answer would be Writer`s Block. That`s part of the reason of course but a more personal reason remains. Earlier on when Diona went on a hiatus, she had a reason as well and mine`s almost similar to hers so ya.
Being the blogger fanatic that I am, I`m sure it`s kind of rare for me to stop writing right? I found it strange myself as well but I really do not wish to flood my blog with emotional posts.
Some may have realised that I`m not being myself these days. Ok maybe there isn`t any realisation at all because I did not say. So I`m saying it now. I`m NOT OK.
I`m not feeling sad. Neither am I feeling happy. I`m feeling nothing. Which is bad because I feel like I`m soulless, spiritless and most importantly, empty. I`m definitely not living life to the fullest right now. But at least I do know that those headaches meant something you know. Excessive usage of the brain and I reckon it sounds logical to rest it for the time being. My heart as well.
I`ll only come back when I`m ready to write once more. With a sound mind. And I`ll promise you people with happy posts alright!
Miss me, will ya? =) Take care peeps. Toodles and till then... Au revoir. xD
D CLAN OUTING on the 3rd of October 2008, Friday. Location: Clarke Quay Theme: Discover Singapore the way Tourists do. Purpose: To welcome dear Scrab from her return from Melbourne. Thus, a tour of Singapore via the Hippo Cruise was planned and executed. Plus the fact that everyone is supposed to dressed up as tourists makes this outing all the more interesting. =)
An order passed down by the clan leader to all the clannies.
8 more mins to the time we are supposed to meet.
Looks like everyone is scared of doing frog jumps along Singapore River!
Everyone thinks I`m kee siao when I said I was bringing a straw hat along. I did. Before I left home, I took a photo of myself in professional disguise so that Rebecca who just came back from Melbourne will not recognise me. Aww, you know how much I love surprises don`t you? Can`t tell it`s me right? Heehee.
Clarke Quay. Our destination.
Rebecca really DID NOT recognise me while I stood waiting for her at the train station I was busted when I started giggling to myself. Bad actress. Lol.
This photo makes me resemble Angelina Jolie huh. OKOK Just joking alright.
Rebecca Fong- the Star of the Day!
The iconic Apple Mac and that retarded housefly face. HAHA.
My STRAW-HAT!!! The BEST accessory to impersonate as a tourist.
Jo arrived at 635pm. Seet arrived at 655pm. Woah. And we were SUPPOSED to meet at 6! Looks like there is someone has potential to take over my position of Queen of Tardiness huh.
And once everyone has assembled, off we go to explore Singapore!
MUST MUST pose in front of the signage!
TICKETS TICKETS! WOOHOO!!!
These vainpots do not want ugly hippo stickers sticking on their delicate hands so I had to sacrifice.
That`s right. We signed up for the HIPPO River Cruise!
The seats.
The boat erm... driver. Oh, the SAILOR!
Told them to pose with the tickets. Rebecca.
Yiwen.
Joanne.
There was a BRAVE soul trying on the Bungee Jump. Brave soul. I would never risk my life for it. I WOULD DIE OF HEART ATTACK!
Who sneaked this shot on me?! But I must say it`s a nice shot taken. Because my camera was LUCKY enough not to fall into the river. HAHAHA.
The DOOS.
And the DONS.
Okay, that is a seriously ACT CUTE ACT DEMURE look. OMG.
Love the wind.
The night scenery was FANTASTIC.
That`s my beloved Cavenagh bridge in pink. LOVE LOVE.
I want to work here. RIGHT HERE.
National treasure, the Merlion.
Who`s the blur queen who took this? Seet la, duh! Her camera`s as blur as her.
And mine was a perfect steady shot. =)
The golden durian.
After the tour, we requested the sailor to take a photo with us and he was KIND to let us up on the erm... driving area. We let Rebecca take the wheel because cmon, she`s the STAR for the night! After the mini photo frenzy, the sailor asked us, "Are you all Singaporeans?" HAHAHA. WE DEFINITELY HAD A GOOD LAUGH AT THAT!
And not forgetting, I would always take photos with signboards, posters and what-have-nots.
After which, there were like 5 hungry ghosts floating around Clarke Quay and we settled our dinner at Pepper Lunch.
Seet and her Aladdin lamp of curry.
And our dinner was a REALLY GOSSIPY one. We cracked jokes like never before. Have I ever told you that I love these girls to bits?
CAMMING SESSION ON AIR NOW!
This artistic pose was proposed by Thorry, the creative fanatic. Nice eh?
Full stomachs. Time for digestion then. And what better way to do it by walking down Singapore River?
EMO-ING ARH. Lol.
Okayyy, that`s a really "seductive" pose. HAHAHA.
And the cranky clan leader had everyone pose with the neon blue lightings.
And the night ended with photos of Becca`s ATM card and Student Card.
Cool, aren`t they?
Oh and not forgetting the PAPARAZZI!
Hmms, it`s been exactly a MONTH since the outing. I miss the clannies. The entire clan. Do you all miss me too?
