#1072: The airport can probably be on par with Cavenagh Bridge.

The airport has always had a special place in my heart.
All you people know. :)

Buddy asked me out for dinner just so we could meet up before 2009 passes us by.
He brought me to this well-hidden place. Surprise surprise!

It is a clubhouse.
Kinda grand.
My first reaction was, "a clubhouse in the airport?!".
But there really is.
There were people playing tennis ten metres away from us.

We went to Terminal 3 after dinner and I saw this mural made possible by countless pieces of tiny Lego blocks put together.
Majestic.

2009 has been a really good year.
I don't want it to end so abruptly.
Time's running out.

#1071: I've learnt to...

Never take the words or actions seriously by people who are under the influence of alcohol.
That said, influence under alcohol also cannot be used as an excuse to cover up for the atrocities that one is capable of doing in a drunken stupor.

#1070: Haven't Met You Yet.

I have absolute faith in the saying of “旁观者清 , 当局者迷 ”。
I may hold my own opinions on the situation but it is always the bystanders who are out of the game that see things crystal clear.
I used to be stubborn in ignoring advices from "saints" but I may well be coming to terms with them.
Whatever those "saints" have said sound kinda logical to me now and that I should probably just...

If there is one thing I hate about L, it is uncertainities.
"I don't know" is one answer I abhor and since I am using it now, it just goes to show how much I hate what I am feeling right now.

Michael Buble - Haven't Met You Yet

I'm not surprised.
Not everything lasts.
I've broken my heart so many times I stopped keeping track.
Talk myself in.
I talk myself out.
I get all worked up, then I let myself down.

I tried so very hard not to lose it.
I came up with a million excuses.
I thought I thought of every possibility.

And I know someday that it'll all turn out.
You'll make me work so we can work to work it out.
And promise you, kid, that I'll give so much more than I get.
I just haven't met you yet.

Mmmm...

I might have to wait.
I'll never give up.
I guess it's half timing,
And the other half's luck.
Wherever you are.
Whenever it's right.
You'll come out of nowhere and into my life.

And I know that we can be so amazing.
And baby your love is gonna change me.
And now I can see every possibility.

Mmmm...

But somehow I know that it'll all turn out.
And you'll make me work so we can work to work it out.
And I promise you, kid, I'll give so much more than I get.
I just haven't met you yet.

They say all's fair.
In love and war.
But I won't need to fight it.
We'll get it right and,
We'll be united.

And I know that we can be so amazing.
And being in your life is gonna change me.
And now I can see every single possibility, mmmm.

And someday I know it'll all turn out.
And I'll work to work it out.
Promise you, kid, I'll give more than I get,
Than I get, than I get, than I get.

Ohhh!

You know it'll all turn out.
And you'll make me work so we can work to work it out.
And I promise you, kid, to give so much more than I get.
I just haven't met you yet.

I just haven't met you yet.
Ohh, promise you, kid, to give so much than I get.

(I said love, love, love, love...)
I just haven't met you yet

I just haven't met you yet.

#1069: Merry Christmas?

I spent Christmas eve on a swing. :)))
I wouldn't say it is my "dream" to go on a swing, but it is true that I have been pining for the opportunity to do so since it is pretty difficult to find one nowadays, except the one near Benjamin's house.
I can't say for sure whether this Christmas was a good one but the swing definitely added some bonus to it.

Woke up at 6pm on Xmas itself.
Famliy dinner (ooo, I love satays!) then headed to meet Talia (and Avery!) and Benjamin at Timbre @ The Arts House.

I like this better than Old School.
Scenic Singapore River coupled with occasional nature breezes.
It would be best if you can sashay down Singapore River with your partner hand in hand.
How sweet.

#1067: Gatherings, gatherings.

Angela (my primary school classmate) came back for a vacation from Perth and I haven't seen her since...well, since we graduated from that building along Bedok South Road 8 years ago.
Thanks to Wai Kwong who organised the gathering back in August, I managed to catch up with several mates whom I have not met for eight long years.
And thanks to him again, I got to meet up with Angela in Holland V where she stays!

My first time in Holland V eh. :)

Lunch at Crystal Jade.

Angela, me and Gladys. Can't believe it has been eight years...

Tis' the season for meetups man.
Next came the M.I gathering with my first three months' friends. WOOHOO!

Settlers' Cafe at SMU. We had a hell load of fun playing the board games, esp the killing ducks one. Didn't manage to capture the name though. =/

Urgh. My eyes were half closed. :(

That's all for now. Tata~

#1066: LONG TIME NO WRITE!

I am SOOO deprived of going online because my vaio baby has been taking donkey years to dl updates for vista ever since I reformatted it last Sunday.
putting the taking-longer-than-usual-updates aside, i haven't been going online as often because i can easily access the net via my omnia 2.
facebook and hotmail are easily at my fingertips!

however, I'm seriously lagging behind my blog updates so I'm blogging via my phone now which is darn difficult and slow via the qwerty keyboard.

JUST WANNA SAY THAT I'LL BE BACK IN THE ONLINE COMMUNITY TONIGHT!
CHECK BACK HERE FOR UPDATES YEAH!

PS: it took me FIFTEEN minutes to type this post! GOOD GRIEF! my patience's pretty bad these days.

#1065: It has been a surreal day.

I have done countless silly things and this is not the first, nor will it be the last.
Sometimes I really marvel at myself. Really.

Read from bottom to top.

I woke up this morning, took an hour long bath and rushed to parkway.
Got my stuff done (finally!) and in the midst of doing so, I was busily on the phone and texting to make sure my plan gets executed smoothly.
There weren't much hiccups, thankfully. Heehee.
Rushed home without getting any breakfast or lunch, just Milo ice blended bubble tea to keep me going.
Reached home and got down to work.
Took me roughly an hour to complete my masterpiece while Mummy sat not too far away from me and watched me get absorbed in my work.
I don't know what she thought of me but I'd figured it was something good. HAHA!
Otherwise, what would explain her occasional giggles when I grumbled one moment and squealed the other?
It was not too much of a challenge to complete my masterpiece and I bade my mummy goodbye gleefully while I rode to my destination.

Upon reaching my destination, I went into a state of hyperventilation.
I...I...did not have the courage to...
So I called Mr Moon for support.
Felt a lil better after talking to him and I took in a huge gasp of breath and pressed.
No answer from first bell.
The door opened after I pressed the second time.
I spoke like a choo-choo train and hurried through my prepared speech.
When all was done, I ran to one corner and touched my face.
It was burning and I'd figured I look like a cooked lobster at that moment in time!
My hands were trembling when I reached ground level and...I couldn't think of anything and since Diona lives nearby, I called her to tell her I need to get to her house right now and I sped there.

Reached her place and I requested for cold water urgently.
Sat down, gulped cold water down my throat and tried to calm down.
Breathed in, breathed out.
I then re-narrated the scenario to her and she was...hahaha, well, I guess she was taken aback by my actions.
Not surprising.
Mrs Teo was kind enough to offer me her specialty- 麻油鸡 mee sua in 葡萄酒。

Yummy yummy! I then realised that I was starved without having breakfast and lunch even, beforehand.
THANK YOU MRS TEO! :D

Slacked at Diona's house and man...it feels good to just chill and talk crap talk rubbish. Heehee.
It was also uber entertaining to see the "active" interaction between Diona and her mama.
I never fail to realise how far my friendship with her goes back...and I can only feel it getting stronger and stronger with each passing year.
:)))

When I got back home, I received this text from her which made me smile instantly.

PS: I hope you will live by my life philosophy one day. :)

#1064: Food and... drinks!

I know I haven't been blogging.
And you people are nagging at me. TSK.
I may have lost the momentum to blog recently but no worries, I ain't gonna lose it for long. :)
So here are the updates!

85 for dinner with buddy on 8Dec, Tues.

Long overdue Timbre date and we finally realised it on 11Dec, Friday.
AND for the record, I was not as drunk like the past occasions.

Long Island was nice.
I simply refused to order "chick drinks" like Lychee Martini.
Lim Hui Min(g) can be in control of herself de okay!
I proved that on that day. *great sense of satisfaction!* :D

#1063: The kind of guys we girls should avoid.

It seems like many of my girlfriends are vexed over the issue of LOVE recently.
I have fortunately, came across this article and hope it could be of some help in teaching us women what kind of men to steer clear of.

#1062: Stoned.

For the past few days, I clicked on "create new post" not once, not twice but several times and merely stared blankly at the computer screen.
Nothing comes to mind for me to blog about.
Don't get me wrong, my life has been anything but mundane but the thing is, I sort of lost the ability to pen my thoughts into words.

I truly hope that I can find some TIME and sit in a coffeehouse one day by the glass window, chill, relax and blog a good post.

Reality doesn't seem to give me this luxury.
